Our Client is has need of 2 Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to work closely with the Medical Director of a comprehensive community mental health center in Philadelphia.  

In collaboration, the Psych NP is responsible for psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and med management for an adult outpatient chronic mental health patient population. Also you will be called upon for clinical observation and referral of patients needing medical remediation. Our Client regards the Nurse Practitioner position as an integral part of the treatment process. The selected candidate must be highly competent with psychiatric and medical principles as you will be afforded the oppotunity to practice to the full extent of your authorization.

Requirements: 

PA licensed Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). DEA prescriptive authority. Two years experience as a Psychiatric NP plus extensive prior experience as a Psych Nurse. DEA authorization to prescribe in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.
