National Law firm representing survivors of sexual assault, providing compassionate, results-driven representation. Firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join their growing Sexual Assault practice. This is a meaningful opportunity to manage an existing complex and impactful caseload, from pre-litigation to trial, while making a difference in the lives of trauma survivors.



Qualifications:



  • Licensed to Practice: Member in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar (admission to additional states is a plus but not required).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of litigation experience; familiarity with sexual assault cases is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Extensive experience taking and defending depositions.
    • Proven trial advocacy skills with a successful track record in court.
    • Exceptional drafting, research, negotiation, and communication abilities.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
    • Technological proficiency and adaptability.
    • Team-oriented with a professional demeanor and positive attitude.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Case Management: Handle a caseload of sexual assault cases from intake to resolution.
  • Client Interaction: Provide empathetic and trauma-informed representation, maintaining open and supportive communication with clients.
  • Litigation: Represent clients in court proceedings, including depositions, pre-trial motions, hearings, and trials. Develop and present compelling arguments, examine witnesses, and cross-examine opposition.
  • Negotiation: Advocate aggressively for clients’ rights, negotiate settlements where appropriate, and always prioritize clients’ best interests.
  • Research and Strategy: Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and develop innovative case strategies. Stay informed about relevant legal developments and precedents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to prepare cases comprehensively.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
